ICCRS is deeply thankful to those artists who, through their generous contributions of their works, have given a new impetus to the project on using art as a new expression to spread the “Culture of Pentecost”. • Name: Veni Sancte Spiritus (Come Holy Spirit).
• Author: Sr Marie Clune (Ireland).
• Size: 95 cm × 137 cm.
• Technique: Fabric art work.
• Year: 1994.
• Description: The Holy Spirit illuminates all the Earth.

• Name: The Holy Spirit.
• Author: Cindy Horner (Switzerland).
• Size: 21 cm × 29 cm.
• Technique: Stained glass.
• Year: 2006.
• Description: “Now it happened that when all the people had been baptised and while Jesus after his own baptism was at prayer, heaven opened and the Holy Spirit descended on him in a physical form, like a dove.” (Lk 3,21-22).

• Name: Pentecost.
• Author: Sr Marina Poglianich & Aurora Colecchia (on an original from an anonymous master from Westfalia [Germany] of 1.380 A.C.).
• Size: 70 cm × 49.5 cm.
• Technique: Handmade icon.
• Year: 2009.
• Description: The icon represents the coming of the Holy Spirit upon the Apostles in the cenacle. The dove brings in his beak the Bread of life that, once at the centre of the table, sends out his fire rays, symbol of the Body and Blood of our Lord Jesus Christ. The flames that we usually see over the heads of the apostles are here represented in the colour of their clothes as symbol of the evangelisation.

• Author: Veronica Dimae (Australia).
• Size: 130 cm × 100 cm.
• Technique: Media acrylic on stretched canvas.

• Description: Flapping his wings, the Holy Spirit —as a dove— springs his grace giving cocktail of colours to the life of a multitude of people that raise their hands waiting life from Him.

• Name: Espíritu Santo (Holy Spirit).
• Author: Jorge Tarifa & Fernanda Baffa (Argentina).

• Description: The Holy Spirit is described in the Bible in many different ways. Some of the “symbols” of the Holy Spirit are here expressed: dove, blow, living water, new wine, light, finger of God, flame… everything coming from the cross of Jesus.
